Customized doses of Somatropin are available by prescription only, and may be used with other therapies to improve a person's quality of life, chronic medical conditions or potentially speed up the healing process associated with injury or surgery. Commercial Saizen® and Genotropin® are available by prescription as well as customized compounded doses of somatropin for individualized care. Also human chorionic gonadotropin is available in customized strengths in addition to the commercial products Novarel® and Profasi®.
